LUFP Internships

The Lansing Urban Farm Project (LUFP) is seeking three interns for spring semester 2012.  LUFP is a Michigan non-profit that operates Urbandale Farm using sustainable practices to produce fresh, affordable produce while building community within Lansing. Two interns will assist farm staff in developing market signs, project brochures, photo displays and other PR materials for Urbandale Farm, located on S. Hayford, Lansing. Interns should have strong communication skills as well as experience in art and design. One intern will assist farm staff in compiling and analyzing end-of-season farm data. The intern will update harvest records, volunteer records, field records, and compile community survey results. Interns should have experience using Microsoft excel spreadsheets, access to a computer, and ability to work independently. All internships will require 3-4 hours/ week of independent or on-site work. Consider being involved in the exciting field of urban agriculture!
